been thinking
and talking
about death
more
lately
within community
and in Solitude.
wondering
about
the expiration date
for this present
embodiment.
perhaps,
the prompt
for this contemplation
is an impending
“birth” day –
completion of
one cycle,
the beginning of another.
no guarantee
of continuing.
poetry
get free
one of The Four Agreements –
as I comprehend
now:
get free
take nothing personally.
all is only as perceived
subjective
seen through a particular
lens
molded by Nature
and experience.
off line
unplugged
out of office
off line
completely unreachable
on re-treat.
please do not disturb.
in desperate need
of moments to myself
to ground and grieve,
re-unite the pieces
let go and given away
unwittingly.
slow
down
to a
halt.
quiet
listen
look:
who is the “me”
of now?
.
π
take a trip
called to take a trip,
looked without
was immediately redirected
to within –
some barriers –
long ignored –
now ready to be
explored,
softened,
and then
fully integrated.
no meaningful present
nor move forward
without looking
back
through different lenses.

Lifetime Work
unconditional
un-conditioned
Love of OneSelf
is
Life
Time
Work.
an easy path,
it is not
nor one for the faint of heart.
demanding, unrelenting
work,
this quest for ego-less
Love of
Self.
a bit of an expedition,
deep dive digging.
venturing into the tender realms
and shadowy spaces,
this Journey goes way back –
to the Womb
and generations beyond.
a constant unfolding,
mirrors abound,
reflections, astound.
an end
does eventually come
and with it
complete transformation.

it’s Giving
It’s Giving,
you know,
that’s what life is all about,”
she shared.
“You’ll be shown
otherwise,
pressured to turn your attention
always outward
toward dollars and cents,
and social media content.”
she felt a stirring inside,
followed by a swift, sharp kick!
“Yes, I know,”
she said,
“I, too, wish this was not so.
my hope for you
is that you attract your tribe –
humans with a soft heart,
wide open minds,
and extended hands.
humans who remember
our interdependence
and celebrate
our beautiful differences.
May it be so, Beloved,
for you and all Souls
at the precipice
of another entrance.”

chronic
chronic fatigue
chronic dis-ease
no plans to go away
or for permanent relief
no cure
just management
by way of medicine.
what led to this chronic state
in the first place?
choices made against
memories suppressed
Individuality discouraged
dreams deferred
voices kept small
in a world π growing smaller
and louder?
where to contain it all
if not on the in-side?
vet
we feel compelled
to vet one
and trust The Other.
One deemed inherently worthy,
the other, a mere token.
One life matters,
the other, disposal.
one Group succeeded
by dint of Its own bootstraps,
the other perceived as a perennial burden.
we speak of equity
and behave much differently.
privilege is blind
as justice was supposed to be.

let go
let go
surrender
detach
exhale
allow Life’s River
its pace.
trust
in The Great Story
your dharma
and it’s mysterious
entanglements.
we can never know
the Totality of The Journey –
bits and pieces revealed
here and there
only where
quiet resides
an intentional pause
spaces for softenings
leaning inβ¦facing
stillness to know.
let go
leap into potentiality
spread your considerable Wings πͺ½
hear the gentle wind
guide
as you simply glide
like the majestic β¨οΈ Eagle
freed from fear
filled will Love β€οΈ
soaring
limitless
emanating
elevating us all π

the truth is…
the truth is,
Soul whispered to self,
life need not be so hard π
you tend to complicate
and over personalize;
to see the dangers
and the darknesses
well before the
deLightful bits.
for you, the challenges
come quickly to the fore
dragging along with them
the heaviness
of not enough consciousness π
Beloved, you need not relent,
keep spiraling
reciting the same ol’ script.
stop βοΈplease
take slow, deep breaths.
recalibrate π
