three Little Birds
perched
on the Naked Tree.
the Tree
anchored
to a sheet of
white ice.
the Sky
so clear
and bright,
it startles the Eyes.
the Eyes
attached
to the human
being
intently watching,
closely listening,
slowly re-membering.

I am
a child
at play,
blissfully oblivious
to the perceived madness
“out there”.
In my imagination
I dwell
touching Earth π
and Sky π
No war in here,
nothing to fight for.
No hatred,
only true Love.
Generosity always,
in lieu of greed’s
incessant needs.
So bright,
exquisitely simple,
where I play.
Ease-full
especially when
the discomforts come.
CommUnity,
where I play.
It’s a small
intimate world π
We know
see
hear
heal
tend to
each other.
Not Perfection –
far from it –
we are children
after all!
In our play Ground,
chaos joyfully dances π
with Innocence!
We are children
at play!
Come,
now,
join us!
All are welcome!
innately worthy,
The Source,
from which we all
spring.
when do we forget
what we really are
and spiral
down
deep into The Abyss
of not enough
and the sense of
unworthiness?
grateful for those moments
in exquisite remembrance,
a glimpse,
swirls of pale pinks & greys,
the Curiousity of Creativity
condensing into form,
the fetus,
planted in a womb.
what is
a dream
come true
for me?
what lies
over the Rainbow?
don’t know.
is that wrong?
feels so –
like some thing
missing,
a crucial piece
of a puzzle
glaring
it its absence.
hidden away,
perhaps,
some where deep
in side
waiting
patiently
for the right time.
“live the questions”
Rilke advised.
one day,
you’ll bump into
their answers.
what is the Sacred Work
I am to do
being
fully
here
now –
tired
grief-strickened
stunned
a tad numbed?
what can I offer
from “my” heArt
to “yours”?
the breath?
mere air?
yes, deep breathing
inhaling,
smelling
like the way of a baby,
taking It all
in and down
to the belly
to the Fire π₯
hold It there
gently witness
trans-formation.
At the appointed time,
exhale
re-lease
birth
slowly
intentionally
Freshness
something new
something
needed
urgently
now!
This is what
I am
to do.
where does un-certainty
reside in me?
no clarity
here
now.
what color is it,
this tension of un-certainty ?
not sure.
perhaps, butterscotch,
a merging of orange with yellow,
maybe a clue?
the Sacral, to feel,
or solar plexus’ mandate to do?
to only feel
and not to do?
surrender
submerged
feel the body
trans-form
dis-solve
flow
like the sacral waters
re-lease this Soul.
marveling at the resplendent Peacock π¦
its extra-ordinary ability to in-gest
poison
and trans-form it into breathtaking, awe-inspiring Beauty.
reminds me of the Lotus πͺ·
thriving in bleak
muddy waters π§
ah, the lessons nature teaches
when we choose to slow down
listen intently,
look up & down & all around carefully,
really lean into
the Totality of Life,
this Moment,
each other.
opportunities abound everywhere
to trans-form the perceived mess and chaos
into gentle medicine for all;
into something vastly different than we’ve ever experienced –
more relevant, courageous, mature, and equitable.
there is unimaginable Beauty in this bleakness.
can you feel it?
we fall down
and we get up
we fall asleep
and we wake up
back and forth
up and down
the spectrum of consciousness
we go
round and round
the cycle of unwellness
until
sometimes quite suddenly
a shift
from deep Within
Grace
a gentle beckoning
to another
completely different
way
most times
i find
humanity
perplexing
what we do
to ourselves
and to each other
and to the whole of
Nature
perplexing
utterly
and saddening
still
bits of Light
shimmering
when and where
the I can see
who are they?
why are they?
what are they?
we look Up
and admire them,
envy and revile them.
fundamentally human
like the rest of us –
ordinary people
with too much extra –
a “gift” and a “curse”
to hold such a place
on our spaceship Earth.
need it always be so-
a few “high”
so many made relatively “low”?
perhaps a little more equity
on the way to generous equality
spurred by empathy,
our shared humanity,
and true understanding
of this current road’s danger
and lack of sustainability.
